Shingle Bay Cottage is in a beautiful location amid the Glenshiel mountains with direct access to the shores of Nostie Bay and Loch Alsh just 50m away.
Shingle Bay Cottage is just a couple of minutes off the A87 road and yet it is extremely a peaceful. It is an ideal location for exploring the hills of Kintail, the Isle of Skye and the Glenelg peninsular. Eilean Donan Castle is just a few minutes drive away, the Isle of Skye is 10 minutes drive and Plockton is a 15 minute drive.
Loch Alsh and Nostie Bay are tidal so you never know whether you will be waking up to either an extensive shoreline walking opportunity or a beautiful waterside ready for you to launch your own canoe or kayak.
The local area offers a wide range of outdoor pursuits including walking, climbing, fishing, bird watching, riding, sailing, cruises and diving. There is a local shop two miles away at Reraig with further facilities eight miles away at Kyle of Lochalsh. Inverness is an hour and a half drive.
Shingle Bay Cottage has under floor heating throughout & and sleeps a total of four people accommodated in a double and a twin room. The double enjoys a ‘superking’ bed.

The Lounge is designed with three large windows facing east to let guests sit back and relax while taking in the breath taking scenery of the Mountains & Glen or maybe spotting our small roe deer that frequently appear just outside.
