A deposit of £50 is payable at the time of booking with the remaining balance to be paid in full a minimum of 30 days before arrival. You can pay by Paypal, bank transfer or cheque. If you wish to pay by bank transfer please let us know and we will supply bank details. Cheques should be made payable to ‘Lisa Bevan’ and posted to Seadrift, Avernish, By Kyle of Lochalsh, Ross Shire, IV40 8EQ.
You should notify us of cancellation by email at email@example.com. Should you notify us by telephone, you should confirm the cancellation with an email or letter by first class mail. If the cancellation is made more than 30 days before the start of the booking and we are able to re-let then your deposit will be returned. If we are not able to re-let the Cottage then your deposit may be forfeited. Cancellation within 30 days of arrival is liable for the full charge. Persons failing to notify us of a cancellation or having to leave early for any reason will be liable to pay the whole cost of their booking. The balance of payment is due no more than 30 days prior to arrival. Failure to do so may result in forfeiting the reservation and the owners reserve the right to retain the deposit.
Should you have to cancel before arrival due to contracting COVID-19 we shall provide a full refund. Should you have to self isolate at Shinglebay, we shall do all that we reasonably can to assist you, however, we shall have to charge you for the use of the cottage at the appropriate weekly rate.

ADMISSIONS & EVICTIONS:
Persons causing unreasonable damage or annoyance may be asked to leave. The proprietors reserve the right to refuse admission for any just reason and refund of monies paid will depend on the cost of any damage done, and any other loss to the proprietors.
Vehicles and their accessories and contents are left at their owners risk.
Bookings from those under 18 cannot normally be accepted.
If due to circumstances beyond our control, the Cottage is not available (e.g due to fire) a full refund will be made and every effort will be made to suggest alternative accommodation.
